If  you have ever listened to Chris Young's music, it is easy to understand why his rich, smooth baritone voice has placed him into a league of his own.

With the release of Losing Sleep, his 7th album for RCA, Young continues to affirm his place among  the best in the country music family.  And, he continues to evolve as an artist; co-writing/ co-producing all 10 tracks, taking  hands-on, creative control.   Just like his 2015 release "I'm Coming Over" which brought forward three #1 hits, Young excels at what previous releases have proven; he effortlessly delivers a range of different songs without deviating outside the traditional country vibe his fans have come to relate to.

This album sets a simple melodic atmosphere and each song whether a fun and easy-listening upbeat tempo or a moody, sensitive ballad flows easily into the core of Young's vocal ability.  Although I would have preferred a few extra tracks , the sound is  laid-back and refined.

Young's style without a doubt shines through in the form of a powerful ballad and the emotional depth of his storytelling of heartache and desire.

Standout tracks on the album include the poignant piano ballad "Where I Go When I Drink" and  the poetic , somber  "Blacked Out" which showcase beautifully  Young's ability to draw us into the emotion of the song.

Overall,  Losing Sleep delivers a perfect blend of rhythmic tempos, clever lyrics and tear-jerker ballads; the kind of album that merits a push of the repeat button.   Coincidently,  album number seven may actually prove to be very lucky  for the newly inducted member of the Grand Ole Opry.

Chris Young's headline  tour with special guests Kane Brown and Lanco begins January 2018.

3. Andie Duquette "Here We Are"

Few artists under 30 circuiting today bring to the stage that certain ‘je ne sais quoi’ of spark, sincerity, and storytelling like Andie does. Her new single — ‘Nothin’ On Me’ — reinforces just that, and then some. A positive appeal to ending Internet bullying plaguing modern day, as well as highlighting the inherent freedoms of just living your life, the choral line “you be you, and I’ll be me” is at the very root of Andie’s entire ethos.

Top 5 Countrified Big Valley Jamboree Picks

1. Allumination

The Alumicool can Sleeve was designed with inspiration from the following two concepts: a Coaster and a Coozie. With this in mind, you can either remove the can from the sleeve for a sip, or pick up the whole sleeve to have a drink. Either way you choose to use it, each AlumiCool Sleeve is crafted with a close-fitting inner diameter in order to provide a suction cup like effect that securely holds your canned beverage.

The king sized AlumiCool Sleeve is designed to hold either the original or tall Alumicool. It is able to lower the smaller Alumicool Sleeves gently to the bottom and therefore creates a double walled insulated AlumiCool for your can. Please see video for demonstration!

Our Alumicool Sleeves can be placed in a fridge, freezer, or cooler before use to keep your beverage of choice chilled for a longer period of time. If choosing to do this, you can remove the can from the sleeve when wanting a drink, without freezing your hands on the AlumiCool itself. Or keep your hands on the king sized Sleeve while it holds the cold original or tall sleeve!
