CHRIS YOUNG :
Concert Review - The Colosseum at Caesar's Windsor (Feb 24, 2017)

Cue the lighting, amp the graphics, 6-man band in place---enter Chris Young from behind a revolving panel door to an already loud and pumped crowd ready for one of the hottest country stars around.
"Underdogs", a rock foot- stomping anthem set the mood for what was going to be a showcase of Young's hit after hit set list, accompanied by humble thank you's and witty banter that kept the crowd fully engaged. He followed by "Getting You Home (The Black Dress Song)», "Voices" , and the sound of a sold-out venue singing back his lyrics. The two-time Grammy nominated artist was nothing short of a solid balance of powerful ballads from "Who I am with You", "Tomorrow" straight to up-tempo crowd pleasers "Aw Naw" , "I Can Take it from There" , complete with a lesson about the legendary Conway Twitty . His version of ZZ Top's "Sharped Dressed Man" got the crowd rocking thanks to some impressive guitar skills from lead Kevin Collier.
The band kept the momentum going as well as Young’s storyteller songs, capturing the very spirit of a great party that can go on all night.
Young rounded off the night by singing his latest from his #1 album “I’m Coming Over” , the fast-climbing single "Sober Saturday Night" , ( acollaboration with his musical idol, Vince Gill)and his Grammy nominated duet song"Think of You " with the crowdfilling in Cassadee Pope's part of the lyrics.
One of the highlights of the eveningwas Young singing the late Keith Whitley's classic "When You Say Nothing at All" illustrating his true stage presence.
My favorite part of the night was his incredible rendition of Eric Clapton's "Change the World”; his amazing vocal range is a true testament to his talent.
Chris Young is undoubtedly one the finest voices in the country music world today and paired with his successful song writing abilities, he is certainly a standout among the current country line-up. Judging by the crowd’s reception, Youngwill continue to fill up seatsfor a long while to come.
Young will be a special guest on Jason Aldean’s“ They Don’t Know “ tour this April.
